Creative and Collaborative Ways to Celebrate a School Anniversary
A Community Cookbook
What is more evocative than food? Did a certain teacher always make the best lemon poppy seed cake? Was everyone obsessed with the cafeteria’s chili and cornbread? Cookbooks are a time-tested and beloved fundraising opportunity for schools and nonprofits, but a massive amount of work for volunteers. Our friend, SLR Creative, works with school leaders (staff and/or parents) to create beautiful, personalized books with community stories. Use the cookbook to bolster community engagement and fundraise!
A Campus Coloring Book
Keep this one in the school store for years to come! Include images from campus, the school founder, important moment’s in the school’s history. You may want to gear the coloring book for young students or children of alumni—but also, adult coloring books are a whole thriving industry too.
Recreating Archival Photos
There are many variations on the recreated old photo. You could bring back old friends at a reunion. You could have current students replicate old images. Or you could blend old historical photos with new—for something a bit more poignant and sepia-toned. Imagine using these images at an anniversary gala, in the school magazine, and/or immortalizing them in some space at the school.
A Celebratory Design for Invitations, Fabric, Merch, and More

There’s so much that you could do with a special-made design: Use it on anniversary celebration invitations and materials, merchandise, fabric, wallpaper in special places on campus. Print it on pouches, sling bags, backpacks, drawstring backpacks for kids. If students are involved, it will be a lasting special memory. Commission a design with us, or have students collaborate with us for this one.
A Campus Map + Map Merch
A map is a moment in time. Capture how your campus looks on its 50th, 100th, 250th anniversary and celebrate all it has become.
